LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower (76454) is a 2,135-piece building set that recreates the main tower of Hogwarts, as seen in the Harry Potter films. The box shows Harry, Ron and Hermione, and the set includes familiar characters as minifigures.
The tower includes playful nods to the films, such as a trapdoor to "escape" from Fluffy's room, a room with the Flying Keys, and a spiral staircase winding up towards Dumbledore's office. This lets a child re-enact scenes from the story and add their own adventures.
The set is intended for children from 10 years and has 2,135 parts, so expect a longer building session best suited to a child with some building experience already. Once finished, the tower stands as a detailed model that can also be displayed on its own or combined with other Hogwarts building sets.
Thanks to its theme and difficulty level, this makes a great gift for Harry Potter fans who enjoy building themselves, for example for a birthday or the end-of-year holidays.
