Thirty building tiles in translucent colours, with an idea booklet included. The manufacturer lists 10 triangles, 12 squares, 4 squares with a round cut-out and 4 rings; those last two shapes are the addition the Basic Plus range is named for.
The magnets do the work: holding two tiles against each other is enough to make them join. A shape lying flat on the table rises in a single movement into a cube or a little house — that moment is the one children come back for.
The box states 30 pieces and the age marking 3+. The idea booklet inside shows examples to build from.
A starter set for a household with no Magformers yet: thirty tiles are enough for the shapes in the booklet, without going straight to a large box.
