Kid K'NEX Dino Dudes is a building set with 100 large parts: rods, connectors and special character pieces such as eyes, wings, shields, spikes and tails. The box says 30+ builds, and an idea sheet with thirty models to copy comes with it.
Your preschooler clicks the pieces together into a dino with big wobbly eyes, adds wings or swaps a tail for spikes. Everything comes apart just as easily, so one beast is followed straight away by the next. The Kid K'NEX rods and connectors are thick and flexible and, according to the maker, designed for small hands.
The box states ages 3-5. The K'NEX item number is 85611 and the set counts 100 parts in bright colours.
A gift for a preschooler who likes building something themselves and then showing what it turned into. Also good to leave at the grandparents': a set that tidies away quickly and produces something different every time.
