This is an experiment box from the Wetenschap & Spel Lab range, entirely about scent. The plastic laboratory has a mixing sphere on top, transparent tubes and a few small mechanisms that make the mixing visible.
With the aromas and colourants supplied your child composes its own scents: measure with the syringes, mix in the beakers and fill the spray bottle. Fragrance sticks are included as well, so a room diffuser can be made out of it.
The box is about the experiment. Note down what went in, try again with a different ratio, and pick up along the way some idea of how a scent is built - the box itself speaks of cosmetic experiments.
