With the Fun Factory you push Play-Doh modelling clay through a shaped opening until a long rope comes out. The lever on top is the press; in front of the opening you click one of the two shape rails, and each rail gives the rope a different profile.
The box holds the Fun Factory, two shape rails, a knife for cutting the ropes off, a rolling pin and three tubs of Play-Doh in red, blue and yellow. The box states 170 g of clay in total.
The rails store on the machine itself - the box calls that 'store rails' - so they do not disappear among the other toys. The age mark reads 3+.
This set belongs to the Play-Doh Starters line, meant as a first introduction. A manageable present that does not assume a whole cupboard of clay to go with it.
