This Frozen II play set comes in two pieces: the Nokk, the water horse from the film, and an Elsa doll with a removable skirt. The Nokk wears a crystal-like bridle and Elsa fits on his back, so the two can set off together.
The horse does two things, and the box shows both in a photo panel. Put the Nokk in the bath or a paddling pool and he makes swimming movements. Set him down on the floor and he walks forward - according to Hasbro he does that best on a hard, flat floor, so on thick carpet he will not get far.
Those movements need four AA batteries (1.5 V, LR6); they are not in the box. Get them in before you give the set away, because a horse that stands still at a birthday party is a short-lived disappointment.
The box carries a roundel reading from 3 years. The set is big enough to give as the main present and fits alongside dolls and figures from the same range.
