Bouncing on a hopping animal is one of those pursuits a child will happily spend hours on and an adult never quite sees the point of. The Hopper Dino from Didak Play is the dinosaur version: a solid inflatable beast in sea green, with two horns above the eyes sitting at exactly handle height and white spots along the flank.
The child sits astride the back, takes hold of the horns and pushes off. Indoors it works on carpet, outdoors on grass. You inflate it before use; after that it simply stands in a corner of the room, looking like a dinosaur taking a break.
The packaging gives 55 x 22 x 50 cm for the animal itself and adds an 'Active Play' pictogram. The age marking on the box is 3+.
A present that goes down well with preschoolers who have energy to burn, and with parents looking for somewhere to put it on a rainy Wednesday afternoon.
