At Didak, a windturbine is a spinning windsock, not a windmill. The polyester sleeve spirals backward in rainbow colours, has a ring at the opening and coloured ribbons at the end, and starts to spin as soon as the wind catches it.
At 90 cm this turbine already stands out well. It comes into its own on a flagpole, a tall garden post or a sturdy branch, where it has room to turn freely. A simple swivel for hanging it up is included.
Didak states polyester as the fabric, which it describes as colourfast, a wind strength of 1 to 4 Beaufort, and an age of 4 years and up. The turbine is offered in various lengths, from 30 to 255 cm; this is the 90 cm model.
