This wind spinner from the Didak Beach range is not a flat vane but a ball. Curved panels in silver and red stand side by side around a vertical axis; the silver has a glittering, almost holographic finish that catches the sun from every angle.
The ball sits on top of a rod that you push upright into the lawn, into a large pot or into the beach sand. When the wind comes up, the ball turns with it and the play of light keeps changing.
Didak states this model as 50 cm. It is an eye-catcher for a border, at the end of a garden path or beside the patio, and it stands out among the windbreaks on the beach as well.
A present for someone who has been given enough plant pots and would rather have something that moves.
