The Rolling Wonder Wheel from Playgo is an inflatable roller with see-through walls and two green rings as its ends. Inside are coloured balls that go every which way as soon as the roller moves. Cheerful figures are printed on the clear parts: a tiger, an elephant, a rainbow, butterflies and curls.
The box sums the play up as holding, shaking and rolling, and hearing what that produces. For a child still lying on its tummy the roller is something to crawl towards and push away again; one who can already sit turns it round and follows the balls with their eyes.
Inflated, the roller is 43.2 cm long and 20.3 cm across - large enough to get both arms around, and light, being inflatable. It comes folded in the box and has to be inflated first. The packaging carries the item number 16983 and the age marking 6m+, that is from six months.
A present for a baby shower or a first birthday, and one of the few baby toys that goes back flat into the cupboard afterwards.
