Adriatic is an Italian maker of beach and outdoor toys, and this watering can belongs to that range. It measures 22 cm and holds up to 1.5 litres - a size that goes alongside a bucket and a spade without filling the bag.
The shape is the classic one: a wide handle to grip and a spout with a white sprinkler head on the end. Scooping water out of the bucket, wetting the sandcastles, giving the planters on the terrace a turn - it is one of those things that ends up on the beach as readily as in the garden.
There are four colours: orange, green, red and blue. Which colour is in your parcel is not settled in advance, because they all run under the same article number.
Simple and inexpensive, and so a welcome addition to a beach set, a sandpit, or just a small something in between.
