In the box are two plaster blocks with the bones inside, and the tools to get at them: a hammer and a chisel. The block in the photo has the biosyn logo from Jurassic World Dominion pressed into it.
The plaster comes away layer by layer. Then the second part begins: the loose bones become a standing T. rex skeleton and a Pteranodon with spread wings. Both glow in the dark, so once the work is done they usually move to a shelf or a bedside table.
It is quiet, patient work, and it makes dust - an old newspaper or a tray under the block keeps the table clean. The box measures 35.2 x 26.4 x 7.8 cm and weighs 1.83 kg.
Suited to a child who likes dinosaurs and enjoys working something out by hand. The box says from 7 years.
