5 Alive is a card game from Hasbro Gaming, a wild variant on the classic card game '21'. The box holds a deck of colourful cards printed with numbers, directional arrows, hearts and the notorious '=21' card, packed in a compact, plastic-free box.
The aim is simple: stay in the game as long as possible without going over 21. Number cards and action cards can reverse the direction of play or force players to swap cards, so no one feels safe until the last card is played.
The box states an age of 8 years and up and a player count of 2 to 6. The box itself is compact (about 14.3 x 9.2 x 1.9 cm), which makes 5 Alive easy to take along on trips or to family visits.
Thanks to its short playing time and simple rules, this is a fun party game for family evenings or a good gift for kids and teens who enjoy fast card games.
