Monopoly Pokémon is a French-language edition of the classic board game, adapted around the Pokémon theme. The box contains a game board with French text ("Achetez. Vendez. Négociez. Gagnez!"), Poké Balls that take the place of play money, cards and four plastic figures: Quaxly, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Pikachu.
Each player picks a Pokémon figure and moves around the board as a Trainer, visiting locations to catch Pokémon instead of buying streets. Whoever challenges rivals and collects the most Poké Balls, or is first to complete their tracking sheet, wins the game.
The box measures approximately 26.7 x 26.7 x 4.1 cm and the game is intended for 2 to 4 players from 8 years, with a playing time of around 45 minutes according to the packaging.
A fun gift idea for Pokémon fans who also enjoy the classic Monopoly game, though this edition is in French only.
