Holle Bolle Big is a fat plastic pig in a chef's hat with an appetite that never stops. You roll the die, pick up a hamburger in the colour you rolled and push it into his snout.
Each hamburger has a number underneath, and that is how many times you press his chef's hat. Every bite swells his belly a little further, until at some point he bursts out of his jacket. Whoever was pressing at that moment is out.
The box holds the pig, sixteen hamburgers in four colours, a die and the rules. It states 4+ and 2-6 players, and a round runs fifteen to twenty minutes. According to the packaging, this edition is now bigger and better.
No reading comes into it: recognising colours and counting to a few is enough. That lets pre-schoolers play along with older brothers and sisters, which makes it a rewarding present for a family with a spread of ages.
