Four separate puzzles from Clementoni's My First Puzzles range, each cut to the outline of the character. Pluto, dragging a branch along, is made of 3 pieces. Minnie with her kite has 6, Mickey with a bunch of balloons 9, and Donald Duck with his suitcases 12. Thirty pieces in all.
The four puzzles get harder step by step. Pluto with three pieces is the start - a toddler sees straight away where the head goes. Donald with twelve is the last step in the box, and one a child keeps enjoying for a good while.
Because each puzzle follows the shape of the character, a child does not have to build a rectangular border first: they simply build Mickey, and the outline shows the way. The pieces are cut to match and stay big enough for small hands. The box states from 2 years.
