A Clementoni Supercolor Maxi puzzle with 104 pieces in the large format and a winter scene from Peppa Pig. Mummy Pig in her orange coat and Daddy Pig in green stand next to a snowman with a hat and a scarf; below them Peppa, George and two friends are skating, with a blue sledge beside them.
The picture is built up from large blocks of colour - the white snow, the pale blue sky, the bright coats - which keeps the building manageable. A child can start with the figures, each of which has its own colour, and save the snow for last.
The Maxi pieces are larger than in an ordinary puzzle with the same piece count, so they can be picked up and pressed down by pre-school hands. Assembled, the puzzle measures 62 × 42 cm and sits better on the floor than on a small table. The box measures 37.3 × 28.3 × 5.9 cm and carries the age marking 4+.
A gift for a pre-schooler who follows Peppa Pig, and with its winter theme something to bring out in the darker months.
