Fast food without a fryer: this little box from LUO TUAN holds an imitation hamburger meal in plastic. The burger is made of separate layers - the bottom bun, the patty, a slice of cheese, tomato, lettuce and the sesame bun on top - so it can be stacked up again every time.
With it you get a red carton of loose fries, a sauce bottle, a green cup with a lid and a straw, and an apple pie in a sleeve. The parts are made of sturdy plastic and fit back into the box together.
That turns the play corner into a snack bar: ordering, building, serving, settling up and starting over. It invites naming everything that goes on a burger, and it works well alongside a play kitchen, a till or other toy food that is already there.
A small, affordable present - as an addition to an existing play kitchen, or as an introduction to toy food for a child who has none yet.
