Playgo's 'Grocery Store' (article 3261) is a shop in a child's size. A counter with a green worktop, sloping shelves below it holding fruit, vegetables, bottles and packets, a rack with small groceries and a little fridge whose door really opens. The box reads '58 PCS'.
Two children can play at once: one stands behind the till, the other fills the basket and comes to pay with the play money. The till has keys and a small screen and makes sounds and tunes. Playing shop is counting, giving change and taking turns, without anyone having to explain it.
Dimensions 87 × 13 × 45 cm and a weight of 1.4 kg. The box carries an age marking from 3 years; there is a handle on it, so the set travels in one go.
This is a present on a grand scale. It needs a shopkeeper and a customer, so it comes into its own when someone plays along: a brother, a sister or a friend who comes round.
