Jazwares has turned Piplup into a Squishmallow: not a figure, but a round, firmly stuffed plush with the Pokémon's face on it.
The plush measures about 35 cm - Squishmallows calls that size 14 inch. The blue cap runs back over the head, below it sit the large dark blue eyes and the yellow beak, and on the light blue belly are the two white spots that make Piplup instantly recognisable. All the details are stitched or embroidered.
Squishmallows are collected: every character is a separate squad member, and the Pokémon range keeps growing. This size is big enough to serve as a pillow and small enough to take onto the sofa with you.
Jazwares recommends washing the plush by hand and letting it air dry. A recognisable gift for anyone who plays or watches Pokémon and would rather have something soft than another figure.
