Flappy is a soft grey elephant from GUND, 30.5 cm tall, with embroidered eyes and strikingly large, floppy ears. Each back foot hides a button: one marked "Sing!", the other "play!".
Press one foot and Flappy hides behind his ears for a game of peekaboo. Press the other and he sings a song in a child's voice while his ears flap along to the beat. You can adjust the volume by holding a foot down for three seconds — handy for a quieter ride in the car.
The plush measures 30.5 cm (12 inches) and, according to GUND, can be surface cleaned. GUND lists six months and older as the recommended age.
Flappy is a classic in the GUND lineup and a popular baby shower or christening gift: he does enough to capture a baby's attention, and remains simply a cuddly toy afterward.
