Dimples is a plush dolphin with technology inside. She moves her tail, her flippers and her mouth, makes sea sounds and reacts when a child strokes or tickles her. The box says 80+ sounds and reactions.
Three accessories come with her: a little fish to feed her, a small brush to groom her and a ball. Roll that ball towards her flippers and she tries to tap it back. Give her a kiss and she kisses back, and in night mode she plays quiet sounds.
She runs on 4 AA batteries, which according to Hasbro are included, so she can start straight away. Because there is electronics inside the plush, she does not belong in the bath or the swimming pool - the box puts a crossed-out water droplet next to that. The box states from 4 years.
This is a present with some weight behind it, for a birthday or for under the Christmas tree. It suits a child who likes looking after an animal and at the same time wants a cuddly toy to lie on the sofa with.
