This Tonka Metal Movers combo pack holds two construction vehicles side by side in the blister: a yellow wheel loader with a bucket at the front and a tracked bulldozer with a wide blade. The packaging also lists 150 g of sand (5 oz) as contents, so there is something to move from the first minute.
That turns a corner of the playroom or the sandpit into a small building site. Scoop the sand up with the loader, push the pile away with the bulldozer, drive the load to the next spot and start again. No batteries and no buttons: just pushing, scooping and making up the story yourself.
Both vehicles are made with metal, in the familiar yellow site colour with the Tonka logo on the bonnet. The box makes a point of it with the 'Made with Metal, Built Tonka Tough' label. The packaging says from 3 years.
A sturdy gift for a child who likes building and digging, and a logical addition if there is already other Tonka machinery in the house - the vehicles in this range are sized to stand alongside each other.
