Electro is Jumbo's question-and-answer system in which a small light gives away whether you have it right. This box holds the Electro module with its light and 12 cards. Play happens in the box itself: your child lays a card over the black dots, reads the task and touches the dot beside the question with one pen and the dot beside the answer with the other. If the light comes on, the answer is right.
The cards get harder as you go. Cards 1 to 5 match the first year of primary school: reading first words, doing addition and subtraction, and finding pictures that belong together. Cards 6 to 10 belong to the second year, with words, opposites, counting frames and numbers. Cards 11 and 12 cover counting money and first words in English.
Jumbo states from 6 years, for one player or more. Two works as well: one asks the question, the other looks for the answer, and whoever gets the most right wins. The module runs on 2 button cells (1.5V AG13/LR44), not included. The cards are in Dutch; the rules come in Dutch and French.
It suits a child who has just started primary school and likes to practise alone, without a screen and without anyone having to look over their shoulder.
